ABOUT ME

I am a Registered Nurse and Certified Healing Touch Practitioner.   My private practice, Core Star Healing, LLC, is located in Pound Ridge, NY, where I offer holistic wellness through heart-centered biofield therapy.  

As a cofounder of the Healing Touch Team (healingtouchteam.com), a group of four Certified Healing Touch Practitioners, I provide Healing Touch for corporations, community groups, schools, and nonprofits, including working with trauma victims. I have practiced Healing Touch since 2013 and studied Reiki and other holistic energy modalities. My intention is to provide holistic wellness through active listening, a safe and calm nonjudgmental healing space, education and empowerment strategies, and the profound effects of heart centered biofield energy healing.

I started my career working for the FAA Federal Air Surgeon before becoming a nurse and working in Post Anesthesia Care Units for 25 years, and then as the Integrative Medicine Coordinator at Greenwich Hospital. A life-long activist, I have provided health education, supportive outreach and food security for the marginalized and underserved in the community.  For twelve years I volunteered in a free medical clinic, serve as a Parish Nurse, and volunteer with St. Vincent Hospital's annual Medical Missions.
